Helem is a community-based organization. This means that we exist for you and because of you.

Helem is also a volunteer-based organization. We owe our success and continued work to all the wonderful people who give their time, skills, and effort to keep us up and running. Current Volunteering Opportunities:

Media Monitoring
Due to the substantial growth of Helem's coverage in online and print media, we need volunteers to help us track these articles and post links to them on our website. Those interested in helping with googling Helem regularly and looking out for articles in newspapers and magazines on Helem and other Lebanese LGBT issues should email inquiry@helem.net.

Translation / Editing
Translators from & to Arabic, English, and/or French are needed for our newsletter, website, and other media channels. Editors in either or all of the 3 languages are also needed.

Graphic Design
We are in need of graphic designers to help with conceptual designs and/or layouts for different Helem publications and artwork.

Writing / Reporting
Writers proficient in Arabic, French, and/or English are needed for our newsletter, website, and different communication tools.

Sales
We need freelance sales executives to market and sell different products. Attractive commission packages available.

Office Support
Our community center is always in need of people to help with administrative work. Our center is open between 10am and 6pm on weekdays.
