L'association Helem a l'honneur de vous inviter à la publication et signature du livret "Homosexualités et bisexualités: mythes et réalités" rédigé par Maha Rabbath - Psychologue Clinicienne et Psychothérapeute Analytique.

L'organisation Helem, première ONG pour les droits des homosexuels dans les régions arabes, travaille depuis quelques années déjà à sensibiliser l'opinion publique au Liban et dans le monde arabe sur les thèmes liés à l’homosexualité, la diversité des orientations sexuelles et les dangers de l’homophobie. Dans le cadre de ce travail et aidée sur le plan du financement par l'association "Heinrich Böll", Helem publie un livret en 4 langues: arabe, anglais, français et arménien. Intitulé "Homosexualités et bisexualités: mythes et réalités", ce livret traite des différentes problématiques liées aux orientations homosexuelles et bisexuelles ; homosexualité et santé mentale, mythes et homosexualité, hétérosexisme et homophobie, etc.

Launching of «Homosexualities & Bisexualities: Myths & Realities»

Helem has the honor to invite you to the launching and signing of the booklet «Homosexualities & Bisexualities: Myths &Realities», prepared by psychologist and psychotherapist Dr. Maha Rabbath.

Helem, the first public gay and lesbian organization in the Arab World, has been leading a peaceful struggle against homophobia, through empowering the LGBT community in Lebanon and promoting awareness around the dangers of homophobia and different sexual orientation issues.

In the context of its work against homophobia, and with the financial support of «Heinrich Boll Foundation», Helem developed a public education booklet entitled “Myths and Facts: The Truth about Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity”, in four languages Arabic, English, French, and Armenian. The booklet tackles various sexual orientation issues such as heterosexism and homophobia, homosexuality and mental health, and homosexuality and myths around human sexuality, and other related issues.
